During the summer, eight employee volunteers from across Telefónica Europe, travelled to Latin America to teach in schools funded by the Telefónica Fundación - Proniño scholarship programme.
The Proniño scholarship programme aims to provide an education, and a chance for a better future, to children who would otherwise be sent to work.
It was billed as the trip of a lifetime - the chance to experience new cultures and, work with colleagues from across Spain and Latin America, to make a real difference to children in Latin America.
This film was created using footage filmed by the volunteers, whilst on their placements; sharing with you, the highlights from the 2008 experience.
You can also watch the video diaries of our eight volunteers.
To date, over 107,000 children have benefited from Proniño – giving them a chance for a good education, and a hope for a better future. (Last updated, January 2009).
