As much as 91 % O2 customers are satisfied with the services of the O2 Slovakia mobile network. This results from a survey conducted for Telefónica O2 Slovakia in February 2009 by IPSOS Tambor on a representative sample of 966 customers. O2 customers use the most voice services and SMS, although their interest in mobile data services has been growing as well.
“The survey aimed at satisfaction of O2 customers recorded excellent results. It has been confirmed that the O2 Slovakia mobile network is fully satisfying the needs of our customers. This means that our strategy in building our own network was successful.“ commented René Parák, Spokesman and Media Relations Manager of Telefónica O2 Slovakia.
A two-month quantitative research confirmed a high degree of O2 customers’ satisfaction with the functioning of the O2 network. The Slovaks using the services of O2 are satisfied with the functioning of its network at as much as 91 %.
Nearly all O2 customers use voice services (97 %) and a great majority the sending of text messages (75 %). Convenient prices of these services, their simplicity and fairness are guaranteed by the unique O2 Fér offer.
Increasing mobile data services are becoming a trend. As much as 28 % O2 customers stated that it was the mobile Internet and data services that they were using the most intensely in the past 12 months. Besides a convenient price for data transmitted and transparent charging with a tariffication per 1 kB, this increase was brought about also by a free of charge provision of an Internet browser Internet in the Pocket. This browser enables the mobile telephones to access the real web pages in the way the O2 customers know them from the computer. Also this was the reason for Telefónica O2 Slovakia to have recently introduced a new data package O2 Data Neobmedzene, which allows the customers an unlimited data transmission in its own network. This is the first so-called flat EDGE data package in the Slovak mobile market. For a monthly fee of only € 6 the customers can use mobile Internet in the O2 Slovakia network without having to follow the quantity of data transmitted. Moreover, the new data package is available without commitment and all O2 customers can activate it irrespective of the calling programme they use.
