The O2 Fér proposition acquired in a year over 140 thousand new customers, who, according to the surveys, belong to the most satisfied ones. This proposition, after a year following its launching in the market completely overhauled the rules of mobile communication in Slovakia. Fairness, simplicity and transparency became the mobile telephony’s key principles. Fairness brought along cancellation of compulsory monthly fees in postpaid services, so customers pay only for what they actually use. Transparency and simplicity mean the same prices for calls during a day or night, during business days and also weekends, to numbers in all networks within the Slovak Republic. All customers enjoy the same benefits regardless of whether they recharge their credit or pay for services utilized based on an invoice.
“We are pleased that in a year with O2 Fér we managed to completely overhaul the mobile telephony rules. We designed the proposition according to surveys, in line with expectations of the Slovak customers. It involves transparent mobile telephony and fair approach by the operator. After a year, we acquired more than 140 thousand new customers, who, according to the surveys, belong to the most satisfied ones. This happened also despite the fact that during the mentioned period O2 held the smallest share in advertising from among all operators. Moreover, with O2 Fér we even managed to win the Christmas campaign and have been seeing growth in 2009 as the only mobile operator in the Slovak market. I am convinced that with this permanent and transparent proposition we will keep succeeding even further,“ commented the Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica O2 Slovakia Juraj Šedivý.
During its first year of existence, the O2 Fér proposition acquired the most new customers from among all propositions of mobile operators in the Slovak market. The first 48 thousand customers began using the benefits of transparent and fair services already in the final quarter of 2008. Another more than 92 thousand customers opted for O2 Fér in this year’s first half-year.
O2 customers are currently the most satisfied and most loyal ones from among the customers of mobile operators in Slovakia. In the 2nd half-year of 2009, the Customer Satisfaction Index of O2 (CSI) rose by 1.8 points to the level of 81.3 points. This derives from the results of a long-term customer satisfaction survey from the second half-year of 2009 conducted by a renowned agency. The CSI is calculated from responses of customers to three questions regarding their satisfaction: overall satisfaction with the operator, meeting expectations and approaching the ideal. According to the current survey’s outcomes, O2 has been winning over the competitor operators in all three areas.
